If I haven't blinded you yet by the amazing outfits above then I'd like to tell you a bit more about this day. It was a warm day in September when Roos & Heino and their kids said I DO. I loved that they choose a Sunday and held a super long relaxed lunch and ended the afternoon with a dance party. Thanks guys! Location: Slot Doddendael
Bram and Lyan are such amazingly kind and warm people, I am so glad I got to capture their souls through these photos. It's also always a pleasure when previous clients are a guest at a wedding you are photographing, you might recognize a slew of people in these photos if you are a follower of my work :). Enjoy!
A german couple getting married on Schiermonnikoog, a barefeet bride and a ceremony in between dunes? Count me in! An island wedding is somehow always even a bit more relaxed and intimate. This is the story of Thorben, Verena their favorite people. Let me tell it to you in pictures. weddingplanner: Agentur Traumhochzeit - Sabrina Skorupa, styling: by Maay
I can't help but smile from ear to ear whenever I worked on these photos. I am lucky to be around people drunk on love all the time but the way these two look at each other is even beyond that. Maybe it's that golden glow from a new life that Nona is carrying or because of the heartwarming words their friends showered them with? Who cares, this is their day and their moment. Fun fact: this is the location where the movie 'The broken circle' has been filmed. Thank you so so much for having me dear Geoffrey and Nona I had an amazing time. Enjoy!
As I began to fill my brand new blog I thought it only natural to start with the wedding you have all viewed the most of all of my work ever! It's the bohemian garden wedding from Corné and Ilse and it's still one of my favorites too, styled to perfection by Nina Weddings. I love these people and it's so much fun to still be in touch with them. Enjoy (again or for the first time :D).
Ok hear me out: this was a surprise wedding, the couple didn't know they would get married that day! Yep, you read that right. Three close friends from Mimi and Yelke thought it would be an awesome idea to plan their dream wedding. OMG! This was the weirdest, coolest, most energetic wedding I ever documented. And location De Lievelinge is a favorite of mine. I bet you want to read all about this story, check it out here on the blog of organiser + stylist Holly Marder she explains everything from first idea till realisation. I still cannot believe we they all created this bohemian festival + camping wedding in secret! Totally worth the read, enjoy!
