For those of you who live in The Netherlands, you might remember that one super super super hot Friday. All of a sudden it was summer big time. On that day Nils & Marylène held their fun laid-back wedding. They officially married exactly a year ago and kept it small at the time so now they wanted to finally have their big day. For their ceremony and celebrations they picked the perfect venue: a small island in the Reeuwijkse Plassen that belongs to the grandmother of the groom. So how do we get there? By a parade of boats! It was amazing so see all these small boats filled with wedding guests who tried to stay cool by placing their feet in the water and eating and drinking from the picnic baskets that the bride provided for each boat. All boats were welcomed at the dock by a sweet song of two friends of Nils and Marylène. A super sweet moment! Their ceremony was held by the father of the groom, who did an amazing job. Afterwards it was time to drink, eat, swim and hide in the shade. Perfect!
