Spaces between moments 3
SUMMER 2019 - I have been shooting 35mm like crazy the last few weeks and these still need to be developed, so I thought let's make another 'spaces between moments' blogpost of the start of the year and the last months before everything piles up. In winter 2018 & spring 2019 I haven't been shooting a lot of personal work. I don't know why. I found out I was pregnant again (after 3 years of trying and a miscarriage in october 2018) in December '18 and maybe I just wanted to keep things all to myself and lock myself indoors until it felt safe again to step out? I don't know. Slowly I picked it up again, to document this long awaited pregnancy, our little babymoon to Malta and the cats of course. But I miss most of my friends in these photos, because we had so many small adventures with them and just wish I took a 35mm shot of it instead of a photo on my phone that will get lost whenever the phone breaks down. So, I have been bringing the small camera along with me again. Not to force any photos but to have the opportunity
Spaces between moments 2
Our lives are filled with moments in between moments. We take photos of the dinnerparty but rarely photos of being on the road to that same dinner party. We take photos of our weekends and holidays but not so much of the unexciting days in between. Of the mess, the cracks, the stuff that you think is not worth spending €3 per photo on. But aren’t these the moments that shape us, our friendships and our home? It's been almost a year since I shared personal work on my blog. I feel like I share a lot of personal stuff but that is because on my Instagram account I am very open about life and the things that happened last year. So I didn't realise on my blog I fell behind. Anyway, to make things up with your

WINTER 2017 - I find this a very interesting topic and so I started taking a tiny 35mm camera with me at all time and now and then shoot these moments that shape me. Not for the sake of shooting but for the sake of being able to remember what filled my life. It takes me a second to take a photo and then the camera is back in my pocket. Even 1 photo can bring me back to a week of memories. There is a small line between documenting every single thing you do because you want to show the world you are what
Honeymoon
Personal photos from our 1-week honeymoon in Sardinia in September. What a bliss to do nothing but snorkle, eat pizza and pet donkeys for 7 days in a row with my favorite boy on earth.
Stills of October
Just some stills I took of how I want to remember October 2017 <3.
Home – July & August
While writing this Autumn is already here but I'd love to show you a bit more of our first months in the new home. Some days I still cannot believe this is our home but it sure feels like our forever home already.
weekend in Belgium
Mario and me went to Belgium to check the wedding location for the second time (and last before the wedding weekend arrives!) together with Anne & Tonke and combined this with meeting with some of our wedding vendors. Chasing light and finding ways to cool off. Felt like a week away from home but it was just 2 days. Thanks guys! Bewaren
New home
Hey guys! If you follow me on Instagram this might be old news but if you don't: we moved house! From our 30's appartment to a 30's house (pre-war, I cannot wrap my head around that sometimes), we really love the style of these old houses. Only 500 meters further but what a difference. From a studio-appartment we now own a real adult people house with 2 (bed)rooms, a beautiful fishtail floor and a garden, can you believe that? Although we were very sad to move with 1 cat instead of 2 (we had to let Flink sleep in months ago because the cancer came back
